Dislaschal Lighting

Dimming scenes

Named light states for Graz evenings — Evening, Cook, Host, Night Path — so layers shift together without hunting wall plates.

Four scenes most flats actually use

We rarely program more than four residential scenes. Evening softens ambient and lifts accent; Cook raises task and keeps ambient mid; Host balances all three for conversation; Night Path drops everything except a warm guide from hall to bedroom.

Extra scenes look impressive on a tablet and go unused within a month in everyday Graz households.

Compatible dimmers and LED loads

Trailing-edge dimmers suit most modern LED drivers we specify. Leading-edge units leftover from halogen eras cause flicker on low levels — we flag replacements before scene programming begins.

Minimum load issues appear in small Jakomini bedrooms with a single 5 W lamp; we add load adapters or regroup circuits rather than forcing an unstable dim.

Street light bleed in Jakomini

Rooms facing busy streets pick up orange spill through thin curtains. Scenes that drop interior ambient too far make the outdoor light dominate. We keep a slight interior wash so your walls stay the reference colour.

Blackout plus a Host scene with stronger accent often works better than fighting the street with sheer curtains alone.

Manual plates as a fallback

Smart systems fail during outages and guest confusion. Every Dislaschal scene map includes which physical switch restores a usable default if the app is offline.

Labels on plates use the same names as the scene list so a babysitter in Lend does not need a tutorial.

Scene programming fees

Scene mapping for up to four states on an existing dimmable install is €280. Combined with a Full Stack design, scene work is included once fixtures and circuits are confirmed.

On-site fine-tune after furniture arrives is €120 for a two-hour evening visit in Graz.
